It's with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I have to report the death of my friend and best mate Michael 'Johnny Bond'.
He was waiting for an operation to correct a problem with his heart but unfortunately he had to wait to long.

We first met in 1955 when he joined the 'BOYS' and then served together in the 2nd. Coming from the Peckham area he was known to me as Del Boy and I am convinced the TV series could've been written around him.

Details of his funeral will be posted at a later date and for those of you who might want to pay their respects he lived in Croydon.

Rest in Peace my friend

Charlie
